Howdy Everyone,
My name is Cactus Jack from Conroe, Texas. I'd like to
introduce you to my Old West Shootout and
Entertainment Club, the Wolf Creek
Pistoleros, aka The Calvary
Cowboys. You see, we not only do actual
reenactments of the Old West, circa 1880's, we also
perform a lot of western comedy and also Christian shows
for churches. We're family entertainment, highlighting
gun safety to the parents and kids in the audience.
Patriotism, respect, and love for our great nation of
America is always a big part of our performances. Our
motto is "if we can't have fun doing it; we ain't gonna
do it." We try to accurately represent the Old
West as it really was. No Hollywood look or acting
allowed.
Another part of our twenty
some cowboys' and cowgirls' endeavors is visiting kids
in hospitals. Soon, we hope to begin visiting M.D.
Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and the Shriner's
Burn Hospital in Galveston, Texas. The Good Book says
them little people are special to Him.
I had the idea in late
2005 of starting up a western club to have some fun in a
small way around north Houston, never dreamin' it would
take off like it has. My ol' saddle pard, Lullaby helped
me think of the name of the club, and we began to get a
whole sack full of members, all of 'em good people. We
started out performing in Spring, TX, then Bellville,
Fredericksburg, Bellville again, New Caney, Diboll,
Katy, and Coldspring. We
intend to enter the Corporate entertainment business at
large events and functions. Gonna be a lot of fun. I
couldn't do it without all the dedicated and hard working members who make it happen.
So click on these pages
and see what we're all about. We'd like to hear from
you, so send me an email if the Sheriff ain't too close
behind you.
